Workplace Electrical Safety Online Training
This online course was developed to assist organizations in preventing injuries and incidents associated with working on or near live electrical equipment: injuries resulting from electrical shock and arc flash / arc blast.
Participants will gain knowledge of:
-the risks involved
-the safety regulations and procedures intended to control or eliminate these hazards
-methods to select appropriate personal protective equipment for shock and arc flash
-lockout of electrical equipment
-grounding procedures and maintenance of personal protective equipment

2009 CE Code, Part I – What's New
This course explains the changes to the 2009 Canadian Electrical Code - Part I, by breaking them into 6 categories:

Safety Improvements;
Clarification of the Existing Wording;
Correlation with Product Standards Requirements/Editorial;
Technological Change/New Rule;
Correlation/Harmonization with the NEC, NBCC and Other Relevant CSA, NFPA or ULC Standards; and
Interpretations
